I believe that the answer for Central Europe’s energy security issues is a complex one. Renewables, energy efficiency, smart solutions, nuclear energy, infrastructure, LNG, domestic resources and well-defined regulation are part of the equation. However, the suitable portfolio differs from one country to another. The art is to find the subtle balance of the well-known elements. Budapest Energy Summit as a fresh and bottom-up initiative will surely contribute to better express the region’s specificities and create an even stronger link with international energy trends.

I’m very impressed by the level of the participations, the intensity of the discussions, and also the very good organisation of the summit as well.

I found it as a very, very good initiative, I didn’t know, that this was the first one. The selection of the speakers and the audiance was very well done.
