Safety protocol

Your safety comes first to us. Therefore, we decided to limit the audience of the Budapest Energy Summit to 100 participants. BEST will be organised in a hybrid format in a way that you can join either physically or virtually by following the live streaming. Throughout the conference, we comply with the highest standards of safety protocol and take the necessary precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our attendees.

  • A limited number of audience with a maximum of 100 participants in the 400 square meters plenary hall of Hotel Marriott Budapest
  • An extended stage for speakers to keep a safe distance from each other
  • Ensuring a touch-free entrance
  • Thermal scanning upon entrance
  • Providing masks for all our attendees
  • Maintaining safe distances at the registration, avoiding long queues and crowding during badge collection
  • Mandatory mask-wearing in the conference room for attendees, personnel and hostesses
  • Installation of a professional air sanitiser system inside the plenary hall
  • Maintaining safe distance with the seating configuration in line with the minimum distance of 1,5 meter between seats
  • Gathering points reduced to the bare minimum
  • Attendees will be reminded of general healthcare precautions and mandatory mask-wearing throughout the event
  • Hand sanitisers installed at multiple points of the venue

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Budapest Energy Summit attendees should:

  • Be aware of the signs and symptoms of respiratory illness;
  • Strictly refrain from attending the Budapest Energy Summit in case of signs and symptoms of respiratory illness and seek advice from respective authorities
  • Undertake regular preventive measures such as wearing face masks/nose-mouth covering as required, cough/sneezing etiquette and regular handwashing;
  • Not shake hands with other participants and keep social distance of at least 1,5 meter whenever talking to other delegates while standing or sitting;
  • After the Summit inform the organizers immediately if you are confirmed by health authorities to have COVID-19, or if you are placed in quarantine within 14 days of the meeting, so that necessary contact tracing in association with a COVID-19 case may be carried out.
